Your hour of work, done in five minutes.

What are you still doing by hand?

Case Study

From an hour to five minutes.

How MarlaYoga made it easier to get each retreat participant onboarded.

Retreat Onboarding

MarlaYoga & Wellness

Every time someone signed up for a retreat, Marla spent about an hour getting them started: copying and personalizing a welcome-email template, creating a new email group, moving participant information into her retreat spreadsheet, and working out payment details. She had been doing it for years. It was simply how retreats worked.

Now the same onboarding takes about five minutes per participant. When someone applies, Marla receives the information she needs to review, countersigns the participant agreement, and sends the prepared welcome email.

"I never actually thought that was a possibility. The old process took about an hour; now it takes about five minutes. This feels easier, more professional, and it covers everything instead of having to patch things together. I can get things done faster and focus on other things that aren't administrative. Going back would be more stressful."

How We Help

A better way starts here.

What has become familiar can feel like the only option. It rarely is.

Understand the day-to-day.

We walk through the day-to-day with you, step by step. We look for places where information gets copied, tasks wait, workarounds have become normal, or details can fall through the cracks. That makes clear what is worth changing and what is already working well.

Simplify how things get done.

Once a worthwhile change is clear, BPC puts it into practice. Less gets copied, tracked, and chased down by hand. Fewer details get lost between one step and the next. The day-to-day becomes easier to manage.

When there is more to do.

Some improvements are complete once they are in place. When BPC is managing an ongoing workflow or there is more worthwhile improvement to make, BPC can stay involved.

The Process You Don't Know Is Broken

Every small business owner has processes they've been doing so long they don't see them as problems anymore. You can't value a solution to a problem you don't know you have. A story about retreat onboarding, and what it teaches us about how we evaluate our own operations.

How To Begin

You do not need to know what is worth changing yet.

Start with a free conversation. The right next step becomes clear from there.

1

We talk.

A free, no-pressure conversation about your business. You do not need a diagnosis or a plan before we talk.

2

We decide what makes sense next.

Sometimes the next step is a closer look at the day-to-day. Sometimes the opportunity is already clear enough to start making a change. We decide that together.

3

The change gets put into practice.

Once the right next step is clear, BPC carries it through. The goal is less work to keep track of, fewer details to chase down, and a business that is easier to run.

4

We decide what comes next.

Some improvements are complete once they are in place. When there is more worth improving, or an ongoing workflow to manage, BPC can stay involved.

Todd has worked in businesses where operational details carry real financial and commercial consequences. That experience has built a practical view: the challenge is not finding something new. It is finding what will make a difference. It means understanding how things already get done, separating the steps that matter from the ones that have simply become familiar, and making a useful change that fits the business.

Client work has included Capstead Mortgage Corporation, Corvallis Schools Foundation, Sazas Technologies, and MarlaYoga & Wellness. The settings are different. The standard is the same: understand the business before proposing a change, and make sure the change earns its place in the day-to-day.
